Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Orbit. By using Orbit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Orbit.

2. What Orbit Does

Orbit is a professional relationship management tool. It helps you track professional contacts, log interactions, and receive reminders. It is not a communication platform — you communicate with your contacts through your own channels.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Orbit to:

  • Store information about people without a legitimate personal or professional reason
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4. Your Data

You own your data. We store it to provide the service. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

5. Subscription & Billing

Orbit offers a free tier and optional paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice. We will not delete your data without giving you the opportunity to export it first.

7. Intellectual Property

Orbit and its design, code, and branding are owned by Orbit Technologies. Your data remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers

Orbit is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy of reminders, suggestions, or any AI-assisted features. Use your own judgment when reconnecting with your network.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orbit's liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and in-app at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
